Holland Michigan Coloring Book in Print or Digital

Greetings!

My Holland coloring pages project has finally come to a conclusion, with the publication of both print and digital dowloadable editions of the Holland Michigan Coloring Book. This was a labor of love, with 400+ hours of research and illustration to create 44 iconic Holland locations for you to savor and color. This was one of those things that brought me joy during the pandemic. I longed to visit all my favorite haunts and this was my way to cope with their (temporary) loss. I hope I've chosen some of your favorites too! You can still find many free pages linked in my earlier post, but now you can get all of them in one place. Cheers! Kelli

Resin Stone Spheres from Beach Finds

I've created a tutorial so you can follow along as I show you how to make these Resin Stone Spheres from rocks I find along the shores of Michigan. This is a great way to display beach finds and any treasures you collect along the way.

Michigan has over 3,000 miles of freshwater shoreline - and the waters of the great
lakes are filled with fossils, Petoskey stones, agates, Leland blue, puddingstones and other incredible gems. The state is home to more varieties of rocks than anywhere in the world and it’s legal to collect up to 25 pounds of stones per year. Here's a great way to share yours!

You'll need 2-part resin, a set of silicone molds, disposable measuring cups, a stirring stick and alcohol in a spray bottle. I use a silicone dish mat for my working surface.

And of course, lots of pretty stones!

All of the products I used are linked in the tutorial. Watch the complete tutorial for Resin Stone Spheres. Happy Creating!

Iconic Holland Michigan Coloring Pages

I'm so sorry, but I had to take these pages down. Unfortunately a number of bad people took them and are selling them on Amazon as their own work. It's heartbreaking for me. Thanks for stopping by. If you'd like to purchase my coloring book, you can find it here:

I am feeling particularly nostalgic about the places around town I frequent in "normal" times, and missing their peculiar brand of comfort. It's the little things, after all, that make a life. To remind me of the good times past and the hope for a future with my neighbors, I'm creating coloring pages of some of my favorite Holland area haunts. The link below each image will take you to a downloadable pdf. I'll continue to add to this post as I finish pages. Let's continue to be creative together. Kelli
